Keyboard mod for Nokia N9: Placing Dot/ Full Stop in front of Space Bar.

Is there any keyboard mod available for Nokia N9 which will allow to put Dot or full stop button in front of the Space bar on the virtual keyboard of the device????? If you are having any useful information then let me know about the same. Thanks a lot in advance.

You can use the following instruction to get the requirement of yours.

• You have to copy mod into MyDocs.
• You should launch terminal on the phone.

username: devel-su
passwd: rootme
cp -R /home/user/MyDocs/en.xml /usr/share/meegotouch/virtual-keyboard/layouts/

• now you have to go for SETTINGS and go for TIME AND LANGUAGE. After that go for TEXT INPUT then go for INSTALLED INPUT METHODS.
• After that you have to uncheck all and select check ENGLISH.
• Now click on Done

you can open that file into Notepad and you will find code. That code is used to align the Nokia N9 keyboards. Even by using code you can change place of every single button.

Code for the Q letter:

<key> <binding label="q"/> <binding shift="true" label="Q"/> </key>

If you put this after lets say SPACE, the button Q will be placed after SPACE button.
