Will iOS 5.0.1 update get the 4G icon on status bar in iPhone 4S

hi guys

just like to confirm this with you guys that it true new update to add a 4G icon in the status bar . I was going through the article on the web page that said that the AT&T as well as Apple are actually working on to place a 4G icon in the status bar of AT&T iPhone 4S phones. Look as if the phone is 4G capable based on the network and at&t is forcing to roll out the LTE . Also the AT&T contain two different 4G networks. That s mean that they are not satisfied with the HSPA+ and LTE is the way to go certainly. This will attract lots of people towards the AT&T.

You are correct that the HSPA+ is not that widely accepted and now at present people are favoring to switch to the LTE. I am hoping that the update has the lot of thing other then the adding the 4G icon on the status bar .

This is not that important to me and the fact that not lots of people has the 4G services available in their place at the moment so I hope that this comment regarding the technologies available are less 4G is rubbish as neither of it is the 4G network. They are just creating the market by adding this 4G excitement in the market . so I don’t see any benefits with adding the 4G icon on the status bar .

I actually can’t make out why the Apple pandering to a single carrier(AT&T), by letting them to bragger an option no one other has, and even they are abandon. This Is really very much not acceptable
