Asus Garminfone does not start after update

Hello friends, i have recently update my Garminfone to android 2.1, so when phone was been updated it was not able to start. I have charged the phone and then try to start, then it work but it get freeze when green droid is been seen on start up. I have also try to remove battery and SIM card to work it out but it didn't help me. It get freezes over there, so can anyone help me with the problem i am getting and get my phone working. It will helpful, thank you.

You can try to do master reset of phone, i think it might help you to get phone to start, just follow the steps to do reset.

• First back all necessary data from phone.
• Turn off the phone (Not happening then you can remove battery)
• Just press Left Navigation and hold for some time.
• Now along with Left Navigation press POWER button (Make sure that both are been pressed together)
• Now wait as the phone shows the startup screen,
• Then after 10 seconds you will get WIPE USERDATA message
• When you have got the message then you can release both the keys (buttons).
• Wait as the phone stays on the screen for 2 minutes clearing data
• When it is done then phone will restart.

Let me tell you that if you do hard reset (master reset) then also it will not help you. When you hold left and power buttons for 20 seconds during the droid screen then screen will go blank and phone remains unresponsive. I would suggest that try to insert a new recharged battery and try again.

I have same problem with phone, it has been almost a year that i have got the phone. I have not got much of the problem with the phone but it is been second, i was using Garmin Maps GPS to travel till office, i was following it but suddenly it was been shut down and restarted to droid screen. So i wanted to help me, it is not at all working for me and i wanted to work as it is been available.

I would suggest that you also do the hard reset of the phone which might worked otherwise you send a email to company with information required along with the problem you are getting it. you might get some reply from there to resolve it.

Thanks i have tried the master rest and it has worked for me and i was able to work for me, i was not knowing about it then was knowing then it work for me.
