unable to connect Blackberry Bold 9900 to my DVD player

I have recently purchased Blackberry Bold 9900 and I tried it to connect it with my DVD player which has USB input in it. My friend told me that he can successfully connect his bold 9900 to his DVD player but I am unable to do it so. I tried it many times but it didn’t work. What should I do??? Can anyone help me with this issue??? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

When you connect your bold 9900 to the DVD player did you it see any prompt noted as "USB Mode" , "Sync Media" or "Charge Only"??? If you are unable to get this option on your blackberry I am afraid that you cannot connect it to your DVD player.

Yes dude I have figured out that I am unable to prompt. I have connected the DVD player properly to the main switch also. My TV also has an HDMI input but don’t have mini-USB to process HDMI cable. Is there any solution??? Please help it is annoying.

Change the input mode on your DVD player to USB. Also check whether your prompt is in mass storage mode. If not change it. If you do not have the option of mass storage mode then it’s really hard luck. Which DVD player you are using to connect with your Bold 9900???

I am having LG DVD player. I think the DVD treats my bold 9900 like a hard drive and not like a flash memory. It is unable to activate it. It is very annoying. I want to clear this bug as soon as possible.

You should check the model and specifications of your LG DVD before you can use the USB port for attaching it to your blackberry bold 9900. It can be that it doesn’t connect to your device. Try and connect your DVD player with your friends 9900 and also swap by using your device to his DVD player. It will give you the idea what is going wrong.

Thanks a lot friends. I have found out that my DVD player is not compatible with my blackberry bold 9900. My friend has Samsung DVD player and with it my mobile connects. So I came to know the issue is with my DVD player. I will change it soon. Thanks again guys.
