Samsung Galaxy Y S5360 shows wrong GPS response time and accuracy

Hello to all,
I recently bought a cool new Samsung Galaxy Y S5360 mobile phone. I am having this problem from last few days. Whenever i simply try to get the gps response time and accuracy, i found that this will shows the wrong location. Most of the time, the reflection from original location and the GPs locations is being around 1mile approx. when wifi is running on my phone, it happens. Otherwise there is no such kind of things happen when the wifi is turned off. So, what was the real problem behind it?? please describe few things about it? thanks in advance.

I have the similar kind of problem on my Samsung Galaxy S i9000 phone. Then i use below process to fix this problem.

• first i dial "*#*#1472365#*#*" (without space) on my mobile phone using keypad.
• Then select Application Settings.
• choose Operation Mode on that & hit the “Standalone” option.
• Next hit Start Mode and replace its option to “Hot Start”.
• Select GPS Plus & set it to “On”.
• Then select SkyHook and set it to “On”.
• Then open first screen & hit SUPL/CP settings.
• Pick up Server FQDN Type and switch it to “AUTO Config”.
• Finally, reboot your mobile phone & go to Google Maps.

It takes few times, but at the end it shows correct GPS response time and accuracy. You can try it on your own smartphone. Its even well for you to fix such a complicated problem. Both the Samsung galaxy s and then Samsung galaxy y contains similar kind of android OS. hence might be such solutions work on your phone.

GPS definitely needs to turn on for getting correct location. If you not tunr on this GPS switch on your phone, you need to first turn it on and then check its result. it will be describe the correct location on your smartphone.

Same problem on my mobile phone. Then i fix it by going to the SETTINGS->Location. Then i check mark on the "Use wireless networks" option. That's it. It works to fix such complicated wrong GPS response time and locations problems. You can also check that options.
