Cannot update samsung galaxy y

I am having the Samsung galaxy y and was trying to update my phone with the help of kies. Kies, I amusing is already updated and hence ther cannot be any problem from that. When I try to install the update then it aborts the installation process and I get the error message as update not responding. I tried to do it many of the times but all the times it comes up with the same message. I am not able to understand that what is the problem with this and what should I do in order to get this problem solved. If anyone of you over here have any idea regarding this then please let me know about that.

You can try by updating the kies again and after that try to update the phone. This can solve the problem that you are facing.
