Several cell phone contains hidden rootkit

I read few things about this hidden rootkit in the millions of cell phones. The rootkit belongs to a company called Carrier IQ and it helps to o hide the existence of certain processes from normal methods of detection. Main thing about this is that it helps to enable continued privileged access to a laptop system. NOw few articles states that this type of hidden program can be also available inside the cell phones. IS this correct?? Please describe few things about this issue. Thanks for any such help.

yes, this hidden rootkit is being available inm millions of cell phone and few of such category based phones is an millions of Android, Symbian, webOS and even iOS handset. Even it is well for the cell phone system to protect your mobile phone for security purpose. I’m expecting a lot of carriers and handset makers over the next few days. Hence its well for solving security related issues.

While blackberry has been exception to this case. RIM never puts such carrier IQ based hidden rootkit tools on this blackberry phone. It not allows to install the Carrier IQ smartphone tracking software and also it restircts to the carrier partners to install such programs. WHile in the same situations the other phones such as NOkia, Android and symbian type of handset will be allow to use such program tool on there phone.
