Upgrade for nvidia 360m on Toshiba qosmio x505-q880

Hello friends, i wanted the upgrade for the nvidia 360m graphics card which is been there in the Toshiba qosmio x505-q880, i wanted to upgrade the 360m to 460m, but i am not able to get the card for the laptop. So can anyone tell me that from where i can get it and upgrade it. If there is any other similar card to the 460m then also tell me about it. So please tell me and help me. Thank you.

I do not think that the laptop will no have the space for the installing the new card to it. So i would say that you better carry on to use the same card which is there on the laptop. Actually there are be specified card made for the specific board and also no other card will not be able to install on that board, so you will not get it. There are some of the laptops which has the board which can be upgraded the card on it. But i do not think that there is any such laptop in the Toshiba which allows the user to do the upgrade.

I also agree with the above user thought and i have seen that the laptop are been upgrade the board or any thing. You can check for the graphics card which is been supported with the board and also the laptop. So it will better for you and you might get it. Graphics card for the laptop are been proprietary and they are been made in such a manner that it will be fitted on that particular board and laptop. If you wanted to have the 460M then you better change the board of the laptop, as you will be able to get the card with X505 board. So you you think about it and it will be costing you very much high also.

Upgrading the graphics card of the laptop is not good decision, so i would suggest that you better go for the another laptop which will be the best and you will get the 460m card in it. Whereas i know that the cost of the laptop graphics card and also it is not easily fit to the board, so then you have to change the board for that. When you are spending so much on the board and graphics card then why not go for new laptop and it will very much worth for you.

I know that the cost of the laptop is not cheap, if i switch to the other laptop like the x505-q898 which is having the 460m inside it, so does the processor which is been used is also upgraded or not? I will be able to play the crysis 2 with the proper specification and get proper FPS. If it is possible then i will be ready to go and get the new laptop for me. So anyone has the information then tell me.

If you are looking at the other upgrades then i do not know much about, but i am sure the performance will be improved and also it will be the best for you. If you wanted to know that you will be able to play the crysis 2 on the new one or not, then i should say that i am playing it on the X305 and at the maximum setting, so you will be able to play on thex505. Upgrading the graphics card will be cost you more which is equal to purchase a new laptop. If you get the new card for the laptop then also you have to pay some of the other person to get it fixed. So it will cost you overall about $1500 and beside that it is best that you get the new laptop for you.

Well my friend i wanted to tell that the X505-Q880 and also the X505-Q898 are having the same motherboard, also graphics card. I have searched for the 460m that in which it is been supported but i was not able to find it. I was able to get the 360m higher version, so you can try that it and use it on the board.

If you wanted to know the price of the 460M graphics card then it is been available for $518.57 and you have to pay for the shipping, so you can place order online and get it.

You search for the TS45074 and you will be able to get the video card for you, and i have searched about it and got the information that it is been used in the some other laptop. I know that the 360m is been referred as the VGA Board N11E. So when you search for the card then you will be able to get the model number of the laptop and also you will be able to know that which is the laptop, so doing the search you will come to know which laptop you can get it and also you can get the configuration about it.

It is better that you better go for the new laptop which would be the best and also it will very much affordable and you can get the 460m card in that. 460m will not be fitted in the x505-q880.

I have got the x505-q898 and it is having the 460m, it was costing the same but little more than buying a new video card for the older laptop, so thanks for the suggestion provided to me.
