Sony Ericsson Zylo screen unable to post.

hello guys, i recently purchased the Sony ericson zylo phone and there were no problems with my phone .but once i turn it on the screen's backlight turns on, and the keypad lights up however the screen stays black. and is not able to post any kind of images. i don't have enough knowledge of it so could you suggest some methods to do it.

i had a similar kind of issue. and according to me i doubt it was a virus.there are several reasons as i never connected to my PC.also i came to notice that my phone works completely when it is slid down. is this in common with anyone else. and at the time of sliding up it turns black. i don't have idea further so can you someone allow further solutions for this.
