nokia n8 unable to connect after hard reset

i recently made a purchase of Nokia n8 and i had never came across any problems while having a particular connection to have a data exchange. I deleted all data & restored factory settings and I made a restore of all my backed up data but I am having a issues over connection . The phone Nokia N8 is unable to establish a connection over email, internet, Software update or anything else.can anyone suggest some means to have the issue solved. please help me in this case.

as you said that you made a hard reset for your phone and still its having no connection over email and others, i would like to say that you should ask your operator to send the settings. You will receive it by means of sms and then you need to save it as default settings. i suppose this will help in your case.
