Sony Ericson W760a Camera Problem .

i recently purchased the Sony ericson W760a and it was a nice one , there was good working of the mobile and all worked fine including player and contacts but we are unable to get the camera to work. The icon is grayed out. There is recording of video but picture is not seen. would you provide some common solutions which will help in my solution.

the first solution i can give is that there could be problems concerning the camera as you were suggesting that Video is recording voice but not picture . i don't understand the fact that how are you able to do this if the icon is grayed out? you should be simply making use of voice recorder , i suppose.

the second problem i can say here that you may be concerning with the memory card problem. i suppose you should have a check of your memory card as there may be problems when the memory card is full. so in this case, when it is full it will just record the voice as this format saves space less as compared to the picture format.

i think when there are no problems with the phone to access the memory card, then it should work fine in your case. in addition i can state further that If its not formatted as FAT then the phone will not be able to recognize it. so try ti have a format of your memory card as FAT and then it will work in any case.

i don't understand why this icon is greyed out. as i have now memory card formatted as you said it previously. i dont understand the problem why it is occurring with me.
