    what can i do when my HP Pavilion dv6000 will not turn on?

    I log out From my laptop as usual . switched on the laptop on the next day but the screen would not work and also the drive light is not on / flashing .my laptop is a HP Pavilion dv6000 Entertainment pc.i doesn't understand whats

    I had the same problem with my HP DV6599,when i switched on the laptop the screen would stay black,nothing at all on the display. The HDD would spin up but the HDD indicator would not come on and would not boot. The DVD drive would spin up and attempt to read a disc if one already was in the tray but still would not boot.I found an answer on another forum.just Unplug the power, remove the battery and then hold the power button for 30 to 60 seconds. Then reattach the power and attempt a boot.then just shut down,put the battery back in your laptop to go.i think it will worked for you also.

    I think It may be an overheating issue,it depends on the usage and how long it was switched on and on which surface it was put.
