Is it worth buying Sony Pink 15.5" VAIO?

I am thinking of buying laptop this Christmas. My friend suggested me Sony Pink 15.5" VAIO . I have seen it in advertisements and i am fascinated by it . Can you please tell me the features and benefits of it? Or any other laptop that you may suggest that have better features along with good looks?

well, it has a Intel Core i3-2310M processor 2.10GHz, 4GB DDR3 SDRAM,
(expandable to 8GB) . and it also provide 640GB SATA hard disk. But this may cost much high then other manufacturers like HP or Samsung or Lenovo.
