Touchpad and Keyboard not working in Dell Studio 1550

hello i have Dell Studio 1550 and under that i have installed the windows XP operating system. everything on the system working fine but from last week mine Touchpad and Keyboard not working and i am not able to work with the system. i have tried the lots of solution to solve this issue but nothing have been helped me to solve mine issue. now i don't know what to do and how to solve this issue, can anyone suggest on this issue and so that i can solve mine issue.

First of all make sure you have enabled the touchpad on your system and i think your by mistaken disabled the touchpad and so therefore your not able to work with the touchpad. There are three hot keys used on Dell computers that disable or enable the Touchpad, compare the keys and follow the instructions to disable or enable the Touchpad.

Make sure that you have installed the latest drivers for the touchpad, if you have not installed the latest driver on your system and then you will face this issue and so i would like to suggest you to make install the latest driver on your system and after that your issue will get solved.

The gesture feature, scrolling with two fingers or three fingers, pinch zoom, zoom circle, rotate, and slide. Enabled by default because most of these new features may cause the cursor to move erratically. In the properties of the touchpad driver, disable the feature works and gestures, and can be changed. go to the properties of the touchpad and after that make the all setting to default.
