usb thumb drive 4gig?

Hi all as I am searching the forums I thought I might ask you folks. I have a old Toshiba A305 that the hard drive is dead in is there any way I can use a usb flash drive as a hard drive and install xp on it? I have found info but all is confusing as heck.

If you are looking to install Windows XP on your Pen drive then you have to click here . Also search TA properly before starting new topic. It could be possible that someone has posted the solution already.
