Mac Book Air 13 vs Toshiba Portege R835-P70

Hi Friends, I am going to buy a brand new laptop to do my internet work and play games and other business purpose. But when it came to consideration then two of the laptops came in my mind, of which one is Mac Book Air 13 and the other one is Toshiba Protege R835-P70. The problem is that I am in a problem with which one to select and buy so that it would be a good decision. Can anybody help me suggesting that which one of these two would be a better option to buy? Also can anyone explain me about the salient features of these two?

While taking into consideration, lets consider first the Toshiba Portege R835-P70. This laptop has the Intel Core i5 processor. It has the Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit) operating system. This laptop is built in with the Mobile Intel HD Graphics. The RAM consists of 4 GB DDR3 with 1333MHz memory. It also has the 640 GB Hard Drive with 5400 rpm. It comes with the DVD- SuperMulti drive. The Toshiba Portege R835-P70 comes with the 13.3 inches wide screen. The display resolution is of 16:9 aspect ratio and 1366 * 768(HD). The audio comes with the standard stereo speakers with microphone jack(mono) and headphone jack(stereo). It has a WLAN. The battery life of this laptop is upto 9 hours.

Taking the Mac Book Air 13 into consideration I would tell u that the Mac Book Air 13 has the Core 2 Duo processor. The RAM consists of the 2GB with 1.86 GHz. The graphic card is of the Nvidia GeForce with 320M graphics and 128GB of flash memory. This laptop scored 13.03 in the Open GL portion and 1.06 in the CPU test. The Mac Book Air 13 comes with 13 inches wide screen. The 13 inches mac book air provides the resolution of 1440 * 900 pixels. The audio consists of the Stereo speakers and as same as compared to that of Toshiba Portege R835-P70. It has a battery life upto 7 hours.

As per my suggestion I would suggest you to buy Toshiba Portege R835-P70 because it is more good in performance as compared to the mac book air 13. I would rate this Toshiba Portege R835-P70 laptop as 4 rating.

Now as I have listed the configuration of both the laptops, I would suggest you to buy the Toshiba Portege R835-P70 because of its good performance. The only issue regarding to the comparison comes with the screen resolution. If you are looking for a better option, then go for Toshiba Portege R835-P70. It has a long battery life as compared to Mac Book Air 13. Also the RAM and internal Hard Disk is more as compared to mac book air 13. But it does not have the Bluetooth Port. Also the price of the Toshiba Portege R835-P70 is less as compared top the Mac book air 13. The other issues are that the Toshiba Portege R835-P70 is not so gamer friendly and the mobile broadband is also some of the missing configs. The Toshiba Portege R835-P70 has also received the Editor’s Choice Award in the March 2011 for its performance and I would suggest you to buy this laptop.
