I think AT&T is not yet ready for the HSPA network support for this phone. because i have never seen this H symbol on my phone. though it is OEM straight from the factory.
it might be possible as you might have to enable H+ form the phone.
Have you ever tried this? in Manage Connections> > Networks and Connections >> Mobile Network. I know that on the CDMA side you have to turn on 4G discretely so maybe it's the similar on GSM?
Yeah exactly you are right as I am also having the same problem with the network.I think AT&T is not yet ready for the HSPA network support for this phone. because i have never seen this H symbol on my phone. though it is OEM straight from the factory.
And the worst thing over here is like i have Talked with AT&T a number of times, they stated that my IMEI is really for a 2G device even though it is already on AT&T 3G and has the identical bands as ATT's 4G (HSPA+) Blackberry 9810. I am not getting why this ATT people not providing the service though it is available.
according to me, it might be depending upon the OS rather firmware installed in the phone as well. because see one of my friend has the same phone but comprises roger OS and because of that i have seen the “H” symbol in the phone on AT&T itself. Thus will you please let me know which operating system you are running in your phone? it would be better if you simply reinstall the one that I have mentioned and see whether you are getting any variation or not?
