Android ICS upgrade to HTC, Sprint and all other phones

It seems to me that HTC and little other manufacture does not bring ICS update to their phones. The problem is that most of their phone’s loaded with custom skins. Due to this we cannot directly upgrade the phone Android ICS. We need to wait until there is a custom update coming to your way. I don’t know why they are doing like that. Why they really need to add custom skins on their products?

Not so with HTC. HTC is anyway for one, shall we say, known as "regular" update policy. Now the company has announced to equip as many devices as possible with the new Google update. "Possibly," yes I think is a very elastic term, but let's see if users do not hope in vain. With the HTC update, of course, the home operates its own interface with the kernel Sense and Android 4.0 together. The hardware also plays a major role.

The company would create its own operating system instead of focusing their efforts to improve the experience of their computers with Android and Windows Phone. HTC has done a pretty good job with Sense, the only Android custom interface that people seem not to hate, and Android devices in general are quite popular. Not to mention that recently made the decision to unlock all bootloaders phones, which means a big boost for the community of developers. For now, it seems that indeed the relationship between Android and HTC is 100%.

Through the official Facebook page of HTC UK has announced that all HTC Sensation models get an update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS). This is the original Sensation, but also the recently launched Sensation XE and Sensation XL, which still run on all standard Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Ice Cream Sandwich is Google's latest operating system and a multi-platform for both tablets and smartphones. HTC promises early 2012 the Android 4.0 update to roll out worldwide.

It is therefore hoped that HTC will decide to spend more smartphones to the new version of the operating system of Google. If the criticism and the results are to go, we can blame the management of updates, the brand did not hesitate to leave out the recently released smartphones.

Users of devices with branding will probably have to wait even longer, or alternatively grab back on a custom ROM.

Still hope for disappointed customers of HTC. The manufacturer does not close the door completely to older phones. On his Facebook page, it suggested that the list of eligible models could still grow. So there will be perhaps even more surprises that the manufacturer has already changed his mind in the past , in the case of the switch to Android 2.3. Otherwise, it will turn to unofficial OS, such as those developed by Cyanoge

The announcement of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich can re-link versions for smartphones and tablets but can be a problem for manufacturers used to offer a touchscreen overlay on their devices.

Being a new major release, the question also arises as to what smartphones cannot accept this version the user experience is not degraded to the level of responsiveness.

The manufacturer HTC, the question is even more seriously than its HTC Sense overlay is difficult to avoid an element in its strategy of differentiation from the competition.

HTC brings no official update to the Ice Cream Sandwich Desire, but what is there such an active Android developer community? Which was already busy at work and so there is already an alpha version of a custom ROM for HTC with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

For starters, it's quite neat and the missing features or bugs that are now still be in the custom ROM, will certainly soon be submitted later and fixed. And then shall the owner of a HTC sandwich forward to a fully functional Android 4.0 Ice Cream.
First custom ROMs for the HTC, it was quite early, since over a month. But they were based on the Android 4.0 SDK, were quite unstable, and much has still not functioning. But it was a start and paved the way for other custom ROMs that will surely soon be up to everyday use.
