Does not boot up while pressing power button in the HP Pavilion dv7-3065dx

As I’m using the HP Pavilion dv7 laptop from past 6 months and was working fine till the date. But today morning as usual when I went to turn ON the laptop it was not able to boot up. I tried for the several times but still it is not able to boot up. As my knowledge regarding the technology is null, so it would be nice if anyone from here try to help out to fix this issue.

I would also like to know as mine too is not able to boot. I don’t know what is the exact reason for this. The thing am looking for is to solve this issue as soon as possible, so that I can resume my work back.

For this issue you should try doing the following things and see whether you are able to boot up the laptop.

• First try to disconnect your external connections
• Now turn OFF the laptop.
• After doing this try to remove your battery from the laptop.
• Now place the battery back to the laptop and turn the laptop ON.

Now see whether it is able to boot up or not.

I tried doing this and what I saw is that I’m still facing the same issue and not able to boot up. Is there any other solution from where can I fix this issue out.

I have seen many users on many sites complaining about this issue regarding the HP Pavilion dv7 model. I think this model is not built up properly and I must say that I always trusted this brand but HP has really disappointed me with this model.

If you are not able to boot up then I must say that you should try to do the hard reset and see whether you are able to boot up in the laptop or not.

1) First try to unplug all the external connections from the laptop.
2) Now remove the battery from the laptop.
3) After doing this you should press the power button for the 20 seconds.
4) And after doing try turning on the laptop.
