How to eliminate facebook contacts from contact list in HTC wildfire s

Hi, whenever I open the contact list in the phone i used to get all my facebook contacts as well with the phone contacts, thus as the title implies please let me know whether there is any way through which we can eliminate the facebook contact from the actual contact list? Any suggestion will be appreciated.

off course you can do this, see i have mentioned some steps by following which you can simply do that.

• Turn on wifi
  
  
• Go to Settings >> Accounts and Sync
  
  
• ensure Auto sync is ON.
  
  
• Click on, 'Facebook for HTC Sense'
  
  
• Uncheck the box where it says to sync contacts
  
  
• Click, 'Remove account'
  
  
• It will request if you desire to delete contacts ect. (Thats the point) Then remove
  
• Create your account again.
  
  
• When you created your account ensure ONLY the 'Synce live feed' box is marked and Sync contacts shouldn’t.

I am not sure how to do that but i would like to suggest you that you should try to get this user guide from here and see they must have mentioned some way to delete those facebook contacts from the phonebook contacts list.

see this is possible but still be aware as after doing this your synced facebook account will be deleted, and though you are fine then you should try to follow the below mentioned steps.

• goto account & sync
  
  
• delete your facebook HTC account
  
  
• thick auto sync
  
  
• create your account once again then tap facebook for htc sense un thick the sync contact

Rather than deleting the synced account there is another way you can try that as well, actually you need to remove them from the contact list only.

And for that tap the people >> menu (button on phone) >> view (on screen button) >> untick 'facebook for HTC sense'
