i have a lg optimus for last six months.

i bought a lg optimus about 6 months back,. it has a problem that if i keep the gprs open for long time an not use it , ust simply switches off . an i have to switch off the phone many time only then it can come on again.
off late its not even switching on at all

I think that you have set the "Always Online" from the settings. If this is true then you can make it "Online when needed". Just select second options as when needed and this will only activate the gprs when that is needed and other time it will not be in use.
