Need help with disabling the HSDPA and EDGE in HTC wildfire S

In my HTC wildfire S mobile phone I have H and E icon on my mobile phone screen and that indicates that HSDPA and EDGE is enabled. Now please tell me how to disable the HSDPA and EDGE in my HTC wildfire S. any help will be appreciated.

I have read the problem which you are facing with the HTC wildfire S mobile phone. To disable the HSDPA and EDGE in your HTC wildfire S you have to first go to the menu in your device and then you have to select the setting and after selecting the setting you have to select the Wireless & Networks. In the Wireless & Networks you will see the mobile network option and then you have to untick that option and after doing that you have to check whether H and E icon has disappeared from the SIM or not. as far as your problem will get solved with the help of this solution.

Thank you for helping me. After following your steps i have untick the mobile network option and after that also I was getting the H and E icon on my screen and then I have reset the mobile phone and after resetting the mobile phone all the things started working properly.
