Yes, this is for the iPod Nano which are sold between September 2005 and December 2006. All those who own an iPod Nano that fall into that time slot, and have its problems, may apply to the replacement to Apple. Some of these models, in fact, are afflicted by a problem that causes an abnormal overheating of the battery. You will have to fill the claim for that and it will be replaced in 90 days. If you have customized your ipod nano then you will not get the replacement of this.

The most important thing that you must ensure is that you use iTunes to backup your data on 'current iPod nano before sending the replacement. If you will not do that then you might lose all your data.
