The free "Minecraft - Pocket Edition Lite" is a stripped down version of the modular Minecraft game for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. Unlike the PC version, but you must give up a lot of cool features: In the mobile Minecraft world, you find no monsters, animals, or caves. In addition to creating new objects (Crafting) has not yet been installed. After all, you can explore the content-free landscapes over WLAN with your friends. There's the blocks graphics in a free version for Apple devices. This application requires iOS 4.3 or higher. On the download button you will be directly to iTunes forwarded, which is a prerequisite for installation.

The main reason we recommend the release of Minecraft Pocket Edition are the promises for the future of the game. The Minecraft Pocket Edition is full of fun but the most exciting thing in this is how the title will improve over time. We hope that eventually the game will be updated with an adventure mode or the ability to export your own creations on the PC version. It would be really interesting.

Minecraft fans will now be able to create a world in their image on their iPhone and iPad app with the universal Minecraft Pocket Edition ( available on the App Store ). The game principle is simple: Imagine building a world as you wish. The app will allow you to built anywhere using cubes to create masterpieces traveling, hanging with friends, being at the park. I have not played this yet on my phone but there are some of my friends who have tried this and they find this very enjoyable. I will download that soon on my phone.

The classic game Mine Craft kit is still in its final development and features are developed for IOS Pocket Edition and it is already available in the App Store. In the Pocket Edition of Minecraft, players can create any structures in a randomly generated world. There are the most important 36 blocks with different properties. Since this is the Pocket Edition but is still an early version and lacks many components of the main game, such as the Survival mode, day-after-rhythm or recipes for items. Moreover, the world is not infinite in extent as in the main game, which is probably a concession to the limited capacity of working memory and flash memory. Thus, the Pocket Edition currently intended for the rapid design of structures, as for the matches in the durable Minecraft world.

I am happy that at least you can build with other players over WiFi a nd also common structures and alter the landscape. With upcoming updates the scope of the Pocket Edition will certainly increase as compared with the present version of the Pocket Edition Minecraft.

From 17th November you can watch Minecraft: Pocket Edition in the App Store. Starts playing the game, you can either play by the other wireless network connection (Wi-Fi) to join or make your own worlds and invite your friends. The latter decides it for you, the game environment is randomly generated. So there are always new and unique landscapes to explore but of course your own creativity is paramount.

There are 36 different items available to you. Most blocks are made of different materials such as stone, wood or glass but use their heads and torches. This makes it possible to start quite a bit. Basically you just set your own imagination. The controller does this after a short time quite well. A control pad lets you run through the area, there is a button to jump. The different blocks placed by their pressure on the touch screen. Keep it pressed for a block, it is deleted. It now attracts your finger on the screen, more blocks disappear. But of course you can get a Tablet PC does not offer the convenience of a combination of mouse and keyboard. The whole game mechanics feel a bit portly.

There are neither animal nor a day-and night cycle. This also means that the survival component is missing from the main game. In the original version of zombies just try the witching hour to your life. In addition, there are still no crafting system, which could build your own objects.
