Android Ice Cream Sandwich Update for Samsung Galaxy Tab Plus

Currently the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.o Plus is running with Android 3.2 Honeycomb. i know that it is a good Android OS but there is also a new version and that is Ice Cream Sandwich. This was appeared very recently and many tabs are targeting it due to its outstanding user interface and lots of additional advanced features. So does anyone know when the Galaxy Tab 7.o Plus will get the Ice Cream Sandwich update?

Re: Android Ice Cream Sandwich Update for Samsung Galaxy Tab Plus

Slowly we get an ever-increasing list of tablets that are to receive an update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Samsung has now announced that all its current Tablets will get Ice Cream Sandwich . This is the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 , Tab Galaxy 8.9 , Galaxy Tab 7.7 , Galaxy touch and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus - only the first Galaxy Tab will probably always remain at Android 2.x. All the tablets are released with an earlier version and the newer will be shipped with Android 3.2 Honeycomb, but it will definitely give an update. This could possibly but only in the second Quarter of next year be the case, because the Samsung TouchWiz interface still needs to adapt accordingly.

For tablets, the Galaxy Tab 10.1, 8.9, 7.7 and 7.0 Plus will benefit from the updated version of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. This could be available in the second quarter of 2012, the time for development teams of the manufacturer to adapt the system (largely melted) to the specifics of his tablets.

The Galaxy Tab 7 will remain in Android 2.x.

Re: Android Ice Cream Sandwich Update for Samsung Galaxy Tab Plus

I know that the first Android devices Ice Cream Sandwich come out during December 2011. The time Samsung gets the SDK and make them the "sauce Gaalaxy Tab", it should be easy to spend a few months. We need Samsung developers put their small changes, as was the case with Honeycomb (mini-apps, icons different, update the "Samsung apps", etc ...).

Re: Android Ice Cream Sandwich Update for Samsung Galaxy Tab Plus

The Galaxy Tab Samsung original, one of the first Android tablets to be launched, was released running Android 2.2 Froyo, a version optimized for even large screens - in this case, 7 inches. However, the people of XDA-Developers and is testing an alpha version of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich for the Galaxy Tab, and may soon have a stable version. Samsung , while Gingerbread upgraded to the Galaxy Tab, chose not to do so Honeycomb, for models with larger screen as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and the launch of Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus . Thanks to the work of the developers of alternative ROMs, the original Tab Galaxy soon be able to run the latest version of Ice Cream Sandwich and probably do justice to a tablet which, in turn, struck with their hardware.

Re: Android Ice Cream Sandwich Update for Samsung Galaxy Tab Plus

Ice Cream Sandwich Android would be coming in the second quarter of next year, which would mean that six months after the start of the new and recently introduced Nexus Galaxy, which was expected to be released on November 17. I mean, in short, be ready until May update. But hey, you know this for some not very important. I say this because they will not miss the famous cooked ROM (as amended) that appear around made with Ice Cream Sandwich.
