Just go through the below steps and after that make sure your getting the issue or not. Go to the Device Manager (Control Panel -> Performance and Maintenance (or system) -> System (If you have not already done) -> Hardware tab -> Device Manager button). Then go to WEBCAM. Go to the Driver tab and after that make select on the Uninstall the driver. now once you uninstalled the webcam driver and after that reboot the system. now while restart the system will install the webcam automatically. |

If the camera has stopped working or if the webcam icon is not displayed on the desktop or in My Computer or starts from the Windows Start menu, the webcam may be disabled. To enable the webcam, proceed as described below.Open Device Manager. select the plus sign (+) next to Imaging Devices and locate the entry for the camera in the device list. If the webcam is present but the icon below Imaging Devices you see a red X, the webcam is disabled. To enable the webcam, select the right mouse button on the icon of the Webcam for Windows XP, and then select Enable. At this point the webcam icon should appear on the desktop or in My Computer window. |
