Want know how to root my LG optimus black with v10g ROM

I’m using the LG optimus black phone and is it possible to root the phone, if yes then want to know how can I root the LG optimus black. As I want to really root this phone. So do anyone have the idea about how to root this phone.

Even I want to know, as I’m looking for this from when and also searched for this all over the net but didn’t found one. So I hope anyone here could help me out with this.

Here are some of the steps you can follow to do the rooting in the LG optimus black.

• For this first you have to download “GingerBreak”
• You can also do it by installing the UPK apps
• Now do USB debugging ON by this steps settings ==> apps ==> dev ==> USB debugging
• After you do this mount SDC
• Go to apk file but after launching Polaris office to your SDC
• And if there is no file explorer available then try installing the ES explorer apps
• Finally you have rooted your phone

But after rooting the phone, your phone will reboot and it may take 15-20 minutes for this and if you think it still goes on loading then gingerbreak might not for this phone.

I got the above procedure which you have mentioned but one thing I’m not getting is that what do you mean by the UPK apps and what type of apps consist in the upk apps. I want to know this as I have got less knowledge regarding this. So it would be helpful for me if you could provide me this info.

As you want to know what UPK stands for and what are the different apps for the UPK then let me tell you that UPK stands for the “Upgrade Kit” and here are the following apps which can be used in the UPK

o GingerBreak EzBoot
o GO Launcher EX
o Quick Settings
o Easy Installer

Actually if you don’t want to use the apps from the above or don’t know which app to use then you can use the blackjack app for doing the root process. As I have tried doing the rooting with the blackjack app instead of the gingerbreak and I would say the app really worked for me. So if anyone want to do rooting in the LG optimus black then I would say that you can try this by using the blackjack app.
