Re: Lenovo ThinkPad X120e VS Lenovo ThinkPad X220

Lenovo seems to delight to have found the 11.6 inch subnotebooks, finally comes to the Lenovo Thinkpad X120e the third with the just-mentioned display sizes on the market. One can argue whether the ThinkPad Edge 11 is a real ThinkPad, the ThinkPad X100e was it, anyway. This was / is with a CPU / GPU from AMD feature (the Thinkpad Edge 11 too) and Lenovo, this "tradition" continues and adorns the Lenovo X120e the new AMD Fusion chipset. What CPU and GPU will be built exactly, but it is not clear. The price should be below $ 400.

Re: Lenovo ThinkPad X120e VS Lenovo ThinkPad X220

the design of this Lenovo ThinkPad X120e: a solid cube of 28 × 18 cm, with heights between 2.5 cm (front) and 3 cm (rear) and weight of 1163 grams without battery. This, a 6-cell - 57 Wh, out of about 2 cm from the rear and weighs 330 grams with it inserted X120e reaches 1.5 Kg The chassis is black matte finish and is quite resistant to fingerprints and footprints, in the Right lid and the palm-rest are the familiar ThinkPad logo. The screen is Anti-Glare, Matte, then we can use this car in extremely bright reflections that are not too annoying. On top we find the camera, capable of resolutions up to 1280 × 720 px, and the green LED that signals activation. The screen can rotate up to 165 degrees with respect to the main body and the two hinges give an incredible impression of solidity, especially given their small width.

Re: Lenovo ThinkPad X120e VS Lenovo ThinkPad X220

The ThinkPad X120e can 'be purchased with Windows 7 Home Premium (32-bit CPU for E-240 or 64-bit CPU for E-350) or Windows 7 Professional (64-bit CPU for E-350). They provided the classic utilities Lenovo system monitor, update drivers / BIOS, recovery, and so on. The disk contains a hidden partition that restores your system to factory settings by pressing F11 at boot. It 'also possible to create the recovery image on a USB drive using the appropriate utilities Lenovo, which is particularly useful since you do not provide the recovery DVD nor the operating system or software Lenovo.

Re: Lenovo ThinkPad X120e VS Lenovo ThinkPad X220

The ThinkPad X120e machine is more than adequate for standard tasks (office, email, browsing) and, from our experience, gets along very well even in the heavier tasks, such as streaming HD video. Who pays particular attention to performance, we suggest you buy the upgrade to 4 GB of RAM and hard drive 7200 rpm. Compared to the alternatives proposed by the market, this model is more expensive by about $ 100 - $ 150, in our opinion justified by the Anti-Glare screen, the quality of construction typical of the line pair and the ThinkPad TrackPoint keyboard +. Overall, the Lenovo ThinkPad X120e is a good compromise between performance and autonomy, and is particularly suitable for those who already have a laptop.

Re: Lenovo ThinkPad X120e VS Lenovo ThinkPad X220

On the other hand, the ThinkPad X220 also has a card Express4, 4in card slot, USB 3.0, fingerprint reader and add an extra battery to provide longer battery you can imagine. The battery add is free with the device, but if you want it separately, then worth $ 149. Although many specifications of this device weighs 1.4 pounds including battery add. The conclusion is that this device is the most portable device of its kind which makes it a must buy for devotees of performance.
