Question about Mac Battery

I have a Mac book bought in 2007. Recently it has begun to just shut down- often well I am playing videos. It always turns back on. Is there anything to do about this- maybe a new battery? I know it is an old laptop and maybe I just need a new one but I would love any suggestions.

Battery cannot be a issue for this. One of my friend faced the same issue. His laptop shutdown automatically after 3 mins while playing movies. To fix the same he carried the macbook to apple care. They replaced the laptop heatsink which fixed the issue and start working. Battery issue occurs when your laptop does not charges up fully, or battery drains quiet fast. As there is no warranty left, surely you will need to pay for the fix.
