Upgrade Asus G73JH Notebook to Mobility Radeon 6970

There were few news saying that other MXM-3.0B cards also able to work in the Asus G73. In my case i have spoiled G73 with vBIOS. I would like to buy a mobility radeon 6970. I heard that it offers some nice benchmarking improvements. I would like to upgrade G73-JH with this card. Can i do that? How would be the performance?

I have been running a MSI 5870m (stock MXM 3.0b) in my JH. i didnt get any kind of issues with it. When i move for the 6970, the system started putting up several issues. It seems to me there is really a incompatilbityi issues and i dont know about the BIOS update for this.
