| Re: Lenovo IdeaPad V460 CPU Overheating
The cooling system of your computer is one of the most important things you should keep in mind. Without adequate cooling, electrical components of your computer would not be able to function, since overheating may damage your computer integrated form. The heat must be dissipated to keep everything running in moderate temperatures. |

Most computers come with adequate cooling systems and a lot of fans, just go through this stpes and after that make sure your getting the issue or not. Keep Clean: The first step in preventing overheating is to ensure that the inside of the computer is clean, since dust is a major culprit in the increase of the temperature of your computer. Dust is an insulator. When you open the tower and find that the components are covered with dust, you will realize that life expectancy has dropped dramatically. Every inch covered with an insulating blanket of dust increases the temperature of the components of all levels. You should be aware that your computer is so much dust, because how easy it is to clean it, it would be ridiculous not to do so, just a blower, a brush and with the teaching he received in a previous publication on the assembly team is able to do it correctly. Take the time to clean once or twice a year. |

If the computer still overheats, turn off the computer and let it cool. Thereafter, you can plan a course of action that involves making a cleaning if necessary, you can update the BIOS (see motherboard manual or the website for more details), and planning some improvements cooling system, if necessary. If your computer is clean, updated BIOS, and still have problems with temperature, open the tower and check for damage to the heat sinks. Check for cracks or missing parts, loose wires and / or damaged. If you find broken sinks, you can purchase and install new parts as they are relatively inexpensive to keep your computer cool. |
