Base system device missing driver for Windows 7 install on laptop
  

As I have installed the windows 7 on my HP laptop which was installed with the windows vista but when I checked after the installation of the windows 7 what I found that the Base system device missing the driver so here are the details down under :

PCI\VEN_1180&DEV_0843&SUBSYS_30CC103C&REV_12
PCI\VEN_1180&DEV_0843&SUBSYS_30CC103C
PCI\VEN_1180&DEV_0843&CC_088000

PCI\VEN_1180&DEV_0843&CC_088000

Now do anyone have the idea how can I fix the problem for this drivers.

For this you have to do the some of the things before you install the windows vista.

If you had any problems regarding the windows vista then it will ask you to reinstall the windows vista.
If you had any software problems then in this case HP will not help you in this case.
Make the vista recovery for the CD/DVD before you upgrade to the windows 7
You will find the vista drivers and all softwares in the C:\swsetup folder

Even I have the same problem regarding the HP laptop, actually I tried to install the windows 7 before which my laptop was running on the windows vista and after installing the windows 7 my touch pad stopped working and now am not able to use the touch pad for my laptop. So can anyone saqy me what is the exact reason behind this for not working of the touchpad as am not able to work without it.

See if your touchpad is not working then I would suggest you that you should look out for the drivers for your HP laptop model from the HP website and try downloading the drivers of the touch pad for the windows 7 and try to install the drivers in your laptop and see whether the touchpad is working or not. According to me it should work for you in the HP laptop.

If you are having the issue then you can contact to the any of the dealers or hardware repairs because they are the guys who would make your problems solved out.

According to me you should contact to the HP support care for this as it would help you to clear out the issue rather than going to the any of the hardware dealers for the repairs.
