Dell Vostro 3750 laptop unable to run external usb3.0 HDD on usb3.0 ports

I received my Dell Vostro 3750 on begin of Aug This model has the sum of 4 USB ports 2 usb2.0 plus 2 USB 3.0 So at the present let’s talk about the 2 usb3.0 ports merely, and every my HDD is external, 2.5", 3.5" (with adapter) what the time I plug in two ext HDD (2.5" + 2.5") to two 3.0 ports, do nothing or transfer files between 2 ext HDD, less than one minute later the power for the 2 ext drives is cut off When plug in two ext HDD (3.5" + 2.5") or (3.5" + 3.5") to two 3.0 ports, same issue above while hook up one ext HDD 3.5" or 2.5" to one 3.0 port, work fine, usually

The tech maintain said all the de3750 has same pro, you have to live with that So how about u guys who by means of Vostro 3350, 3450, 3550 ? Tested XPS 15, work usually. So there is no answer for this, the usb3.0 host controller is awful Have to purchase usb3.0 hub still nowhere sale it

Not just have I get the similar issue with small dissimilarity when I am permuting my two disks, which be incidentally from the awfully similar manufacturer , but buying an USB3 adapter did not help some disks are not recognized either, others are familiar, but control is lost after a few time. seem like we got what appears as insufficiently experienced beta technology.

Experienced with two ext 3.5" WD with adapters moreover they are not operation Yes the usb 3.0 hub perhaps won’t help out

Hey guys I buy one USB3.0 hub Tripp Lite USB mouse hub with power adater 1 3.0 port of laptop following little times with, the power is cut off

So no more expectation, the majority expert IT guy also quit

So the questions is

1. Do Dell put up for sale us machines among 2 USB3 ports or not? Plus
2. Do we mean these ports to be working or not, as we buy a machine that purposely had they?

As I presume the reply to these two inquiries is YES, seem we should either ship back the machines to be fixed by Dell (as there is a guarantee) or get a full refund. It is unlawful to advertise and sell about facilities that are not present.

And otherwise we should start some class action as soon as possible, informing as much as we can all possible technology newspapers and web sites about how Dell reacts to this problem and eventually solve it. For improved or not as good as, the option is at the present theirs plus consumer decision will probably go behind - for better or inferior concerning Dell too.

Any suggestions?

I actually wish for to return or change to Vostro 3550 or V131 but it does appear not possible. Had it for 3 months

in fact, Dell cares their customers however one time it can be solve they just pay no attention to or If my father is the CEO of Dell so this case is easy

I have the same Problem with my Vostro 3750. I am in contact with the service technican. The Problem is the USB3 controller. The controller is to weak to serve to harddisk ore USB3 sticks.
The technians wat to create an new controller and want change the controller.
