Require Bios update for Dell Precision 380

I want to recognize if I need to update BIOS, because I cannot get the different improvements between different versions from A02 to A09 bioses. The difficulty is that if can't update the BIOS (because I’m using windows 7 64bits) easily, except it seems to be possible in command prompt with the install DVD. Do I need to update BIOS? Should I update BIOS? Is it useless?

It is a standard practice to update the bios setting to your computer to the latest version need to upgrade before doing a CPU upgrade.

Ok I am trying from last two week the system is not allow me to upgrade on Dell Precision 380 but still I am trying to upgrade the BIOS setting and with the OS I am using is windows 7 64B getting the windows configurations error message with Ubuntu operation is not allowed so I am going to try with the install a DVD in console mode.
