Message Application too big to install in Nokia X3-02

I am trying to install Message Application on my nokia X3-02 but it displays Message Application too long. The application is of 1.2 MB only and my phone have 25 MB phone memory left . Then what should I do ?? How can I use that application ?? and Why its not working ?? There shouldn’t be memory problem. Plz help me.

Nokia X3-02 is s40 phone and s40 phones doesn’t support .jar files longer than 1 MB. It’s a hardware/software limitation and that’s why you are not able to install java applications longer than 1MB.

It’s true that you can’t install java application larger than 1 Mb but you can get same application or the similar one in smaller size. There are a no. of applications available on internet. Try your luck , you will get one .

If you are facing this problem while installing application using Nokia PC Suit then you can go for the alternate way. Select USB mass storage when you connect the phone to PC.Then just copy-paste that file in your memory card and check its working or not. In most of the cases it worked. Try it.
