Ram speed of Lenovo Thinkpad T510

Recently i have purchased Lenovo Thinkpad T510. I have read somewhere that this particular device is not able to make use of 1333 mhz ram? I am looking to purchase 4Gb of DDr3 1333 Mhz ram for the laptop of mine. tell me whether the above mentioned thing work for you or not.

I have searched on the Google to figure out the thing which you have stated over here that is RAM clock is limited to the 1067MHz and hence 1333MHz RAM will not provide any kind of benefit until and unless you are not supposed to plan same kind of the memory modules to 1333Mhz bus speed computer.

If you have configured the laptop of yours than it will state that you cannot cancel the order of yours. I think 1333 Ram will not make any effect rather than that of I will go for 1066. You have to paid extra because your 4GB of the total memory consist of one of the 4GB DIMM instead of Two 2GB MIMs. You will see that 4GB DIMMs which are currently ship with the T510/W510 are supposed 1333 MHz memory. All the other DIMMS which are currently ship with the those two machines are 1066 Mhz memory. The memory which are supposed to use of 1333 MHz memory. The drawback of cost saving strategy is just one DIMM and the speed advantage of dual channel memory access until and unless you have buy and install the second DIMM.
