I would really warn all of you who are really thinking to buy the TomTom via 1535 TM or any other related model of the TomTom . because I can really share my bad experience with the TomTom via 1535 TM. When I bought this device I was told that the mapshare service is provided , but after I checked on the service of the mapshare ,I found out that the service is not enabled . And there are also many other issue regarding the TomTom. I must say that the TomTom are misguiding the people in the market and they are providing with the wrong information to the customer. But whatever I must say that don’t go buying the TomTom via series .

Actually you are right …what ever you have said about the TomTom via series is totally agreed. You should never go for buying the TomTom via series , as the device does not come with the feature as provided during the buying of TomTom product .

As I have experienced the same , when I bought the device , I was told the same that the device would come with the maps , but when I checked it out the for the maps the maps were not enabled and when I went to check on their websites I saw that for the via series GPS they have mentioned that the this functionality is not available on the device . as tough the TomTom via series is not fully compatible with the TomTom home and MyTomTom . I think its totally unjustified when you are not providing the right services to its customers who are expecting from the brands.

There are also other functionality which are not available for the TomTom device and its so bad from the TomTom . the functionality that are lacking in the devices are :-

• Purchasing of maps
• Map share corrections service
• Sharing the favourites
• Speed cameras
I think they should really look in to this matter and should try to work on this issues . as the services from the TomTom is fairly poor.

I bought the TomTom device last month and just returned the device back for its poor service and poor functionalities . I recommend you to not to go for buying the TomTom via devices .

I have bought the TomTom 1535 TM and found there are some services that are not still available for this device.

1. taking of back-up is not possible still yet
2. you cannot download the additional voices
3. problem with the speed cameras and the sharing favorites
