Difference between Xenon Flash and LED Flash

Can anyone tell me the proper difference between the Xenon Flash & Led Flash? Do you know which one is better among them? When do you think that the SE Xperia phone will be available similar to cybershot family.

The Flash LED: In a simple form is a light of a maximum of 2 meters to achieve than energy charge after a few seconds to shoot and get a picture with more light.

Xenon flash is a type of flash to load and fire reached 10 meters of power.

Xenon is better, but has the function LED flashlight.

    Here are the differences
    • The Xenon flash is characterized by a brighter light, but in a particular instant, while the LED technology to illuminate the scene longer.
    • The Xenon flash requires a large capacitor to operate, but in the case of LEDs, is very thin, usually 2 mm. Given that space is an important factor in mobile devices is something to value.
    • Another aspect to consider is the fragility of the xenon tube, a matter that is LED technology worrisome.
    • The Flash LEDs require much less energy to operate, another important aspect to be mobile.
    • The Xenon flash requires a mechanical shutter part for its operation, with the additional cost, footprint and subsequent consumption.

Xenon flash has more power than the LED flash in the night; the first is really bone more lighting in a photo and the second is really a bit dark

Re: Difference between Xenon Flash and LED Flash

A xenon flash is a real flash, such as using traditional and digital cameras. "Flash" is a term LED a bit wrong, since it is basically taking a picture with a mini-light lamp constant. It is far from a real flash, but serves to give dark lighting in a situation. IF anything you've seen one of those key rings that have light, you know what to expect, since they use the same kind of LEDs.

If you want a phone to take pictures of sufficient quality and flexibility to not bring camera, Xenon. If you want a phone that makes good pictures and you out of step: Led with good camera. If you want a phone, to make good pictures but depend on the situation and lighting: 5 / 8 Mpx generic optics and LED flash.

I prefer the Xenon especially this: to take pictures at night pictures is clearly superior, because LEDs require people to be totally still.

Some phones have optical quality "superior" to the generations that are usually put. Generally, these terminals have higher quality in terms of camera. Perhaps you've tried some Nokia with Carl Zeiss optics, hence you think that mobile phones "old" make better pictures. In general, the newer the phone, with the same megapixel and optics generic best photos does, the problem is that with the smartphone , broke this rule and are now making some photos a little chuchurrÃ*as.

Xenon flash is better in a matter of activating it means that the flash reacts faster and takes less energy to charge and collect the normal or everyday flash but the flash is more powerful everyday speaking covers more space i distance away (pun intended) and photos that you take out a little more light

Re: Difference between Xenon Flash and LED Flash

In addition to the now 8.1-megapixel camera sure produced by Sony, the next 5 or iPhone 4S could also adopt a dual LED flash, so as to greatly improve the lighting in low light conditions and get the best night shots. Surely a single Xenon flash would have been a much more powerful and probably the best approach for the photos, but a dual LED is still much more practical and much less harmful in case of close-ups. In addition, a Xenon flash could not be used as a torch and inside the video would be replaced by irritating and useless red light found in devices like the old Nokia N82. Finally, a dual LED is better in terms of convenience...
