Does laptop works faster with DC (battery removed)?

I don’t know if this is true or not but in my case it is doing the same. Whenever I takeout my laptop battery and run that directly from the DC then I flt that it is performing faster. Is there anyone else who is facing the same or is it only me who is with this issue? Thank you so much in advance for replying.

This is totally depends on the power plan that you are having like CPU throttle etc. So it can be true.

If you are talking about the Lenovo laptop then I would like to tell you that this is completely opposite as you have mentioned. It’s like Batt + AC = faster. No batt + AC = slower. I don’t know why you are getting opposite to the actual.

I dont think so. It will consume the same amount of electricity needed for the laptop whether it be battery or DC. This is just the misunderstanding of the people and nothing more than that. It will not affect the performance of the laptop.
