Is it possible to install iOS5 on iphone 4

Hi, I am a Iphone4 user and really I am disappointed with my newer purchase as I have purchased it before some days only and at that time I was not aware about the newer 4S.

Anyways when I was looking at the specification of the Iphone4s I came to know about the dissimilarities about both the phone, and from that only I came to know about the iOS5, which is preloaded with the newer phone.

Thus I was wondering as whether is it possible to update the Iphone 4 firmware to iOS5? Any suggestion would be appreciated.

let me tell you as the iOS 5 is not yet released to public rather the newer phone called Iphone4S has this operating system preloaded.

Thus I don’t think you’ll be able to install it In your phone.

I would say you should wait till the 4s gets released because after that I am assuming as the newer iSO 5 is also about to released. And after that you can simply update the phone.

But before that as well you should try to confirm it from the apple support center.
