3G modems can be used in Acer Iconia TAB A501

As you might know that the Acer Iconia TAB A501 does not contain the in-built modem. W\if you want to use the 3G in this tablet you need to buy the 3G modem or 3D dongle separately. Then you need to connect to the USB for 3G connection. There are several network operators who offers 3G dongles. Is it possible for me to connect any one of those to this tablet for internet connection? Some examples are Optus, Telstra and Vodafone.

As far as I know that this tablet is capable to use any 3G USB model on it I think but so far I didn’t get much information about this one and I hope that we will soon going to get the updated result on this. Otherwise the Acer should have put on sale its own 3G modem that is compatible for the tablet in which you can put any Sim and connect to the internet.

I want to buy the A501. Since I want to use these even on vacation, this raises the question of whether I use a foreign SIM card (like TIM in Italy) can go online. For my old laptop I had bought there a USB stick with a SIM card from TIM and everything worked perfectly. Can anyone answer the question?
