You need to use an proper connectivity task for this moue with the laptop. This process helps to you for solving your problem. In that I think upgrading driver of the mouse help to you for solving your trouble. There is an online option present on it. You can use this for upgrade the latest driver of the mouse.

I have the exact same problem on my Vaio F series (VPCF121FD). Touchpad of my laptop works well but I can’t able to access the external mouse onto it. This mouse will be gives problem if you have not properly set the setting of this mouse. In that you can also use an restore setting onto it. This process helps to properly set the setting of the mouse. Try this and then try to access the mouse with this laptop.
