Why imac 2011 is slower than Macbook pro 2011?

At present own a 2011 iMac Last week I buy a 2011 17 inch Macbook Pro .Unnecessary to say the startup and shutdown time is a great deal more rapidly with the Macbook Pro subsequently the iMac, even though the specs on the iMac are much better. This is accurate for me also. Once the iMac is up and function, it does work more rapidly than my MBP also.
