Virtual CD device for Toshiba Stor.e Alu 2S external HDD

I am having a new external 1TB (2,5") USB3.0 HDD and whenever I connect that to my computer then I found that there is one virtual CD drive installed routinely. It is just having the manual along with the link for the "revolutionary" Toshiba marketplace. The entire partition is 6 MB in size but that is completely of no use (there is no encryption accessible). Can somebody tell me that what is this virtual CD drive that I am getting and is Toshiba is going to update the software "Toshiba Drive Converter" while releasing new hardware?

Do you have demon tools installed in your computer? If not then install that. When you install that then you will see one small red square in the system tray. Just right click on that and point to Virtual CD / DVD and Set number of devices to disable. As you do that then it will remove all the virtual drive from your computer. I hope this will be helpful to you.

If you wish to remove the virtual drive from your computer so that it no longer appears then you must go through the following steps.

1. From the menu option, just select "Configuration".
2. After this open the tab "Virtual Drive".
3. At last within the section "Number of units" choose "Not found" as "OK" and virtual drive disappears as of My Computer.

There is one program as the UltraISO program. I have not used that personally but it was mentioned that it can help you to remove the virtual drive.
