Getting Asus eee slate by selling my Toshiba satellite laptop

I have Toshiba satellite laptop two years old. I am thinking to sell it and get asus eee slate .any suggestion

With laptops running on the subject of 300 new and a warranty you have some hard competition plus the battery is likely dead or near death. Figure 150 to budge it out.

As to the slate, I find folk drawn to tablets then later they discover what a mistake those are. The common cause is "I'll take notes" other than they learn fast this is not a sturdy characteristic.
