Hi guys I am a Alienware laptop user and I have recently come to know there is new Command Center update available which is Command Center v2.5.54.0 and it is for AliM11xR1, M11xR2, M15x and M17xR2. For M17xR1 laptops and it will not work in pre dell or legacy model. now I have Alienware 17xR2 laptop and I know it will work in my laptop in my laptop but please let me know what is new this update.

Alienware has resolved many issues in this new update of the command center. The improvements in this new Command Center v2.5.54.0 are like following.

• AlienFx shortcut key functions problem has gone
• Now there will no Microsoft Register server error
• language compatibility is also improved
• the unnecessary feature for Sleep /start menu in AlienFusion has been recovered.
• It will also work with previous versions also.
• Power management function is also improved
• all the issues of AlienTouch sensitivity panel layout has fixed.

I am very happy with the new Command Center v2.5.54.0 because with previous version I was facing problem with AlienTouch sensitivity panel layout and it was not working properly and after that I have tried so many solution to fix this problem but none of the solution helped me to solve this and after that I have I have contact the Alienware and after that they have told me to install the new version of the command center and after that I have downloaded Command Center v2.5.54.0 from internet and after downloading the Command Center v2.5.54.0 I have installed it in my laptop.

After installing the Command Center v2.5.54.0 in my laptop all the problems has get fixed and I am not facing any issue with AlienTouch sensitivity panel layout. all those who are facing problems with old version of the Command Center just download the new version of the Command Center and after that install it and after that all the problem will get solved.

As you have said that in after installing the Command Center v2.5.54.0 all the problems with previous will not occure and after reading that I have download it in my laptop and after that I have installed it in my laptop and after installing that in my laptop when I tap on virtual scrolling at that time I get error and after that when I click on the Ok then it will close the Command Center. please tell me what should I do to solve this issue.

According to me you are facing this problem because of the bad installation of the Command Center v2.5.54.0 and I will recommend you to try to solve this problem by reinstalling the Command Center v2.5.54.0 in your laptop and after that you will not get any error. first you have to remove the Command Center from your laptop completely and after uninstalling the Command Center v2.5.54.0 you have to restart the laptop and after that you have to delete all the temporary files.

After deleting the temporary files you have to install the Command Center v2.5.54.0 and after that check whether you get the same error or not.

are you using v14.0.12.0 Synaptics driver for your Alienware 17xR2 laptop? if you are not using this then you have to first download the Alienware 17xR2 laptop drivers and after that install it in your laptop and check whether you are getting the same problem or not.

First I thought that the problem Is with Command Center v2.5.54.0 and i have tried to solve this issue by reinstalling the Command Center v2.5.54.0 in my laptop but after reinstalling the Command Center v2.5.54.0 also I was facing the same problem. Now after that I have downloaded the Synaptics driver for Alienware 17xR2 laptop from the link which you have provided and after downloading that I have installed it in my laptop and after installing that my problem get solved.
