Output of Sigma 70-200 f2.8 camera lens

I am currently going to renew my camera kit, and yesterday it went into my bag. I had replaced my Canon EF 70-300 F4-5.6 IS USM to Sigma 70-200 F2.8 which is the APO EX DG HSM. There are certain reasons to go for the upgrade. First the Canon was not working properly. I had noticed the same on many occasions. For example when you are in a place of low light and crowd. In indoors doesn't matter. But in outdoors the image is not trapped properly. I felt strongly the need to have a more brighter lens that can enhance my image quality. But as per the budget Sigma 70-200 F2.8 APO EX DG HSM fits the needs. Is it worth for long run, or I have to for any kind of future updates also. I do not find much more additions to this. A big liens with my camera is more than enough to capture the most appropriate picture. The one thing matters is high detailing of photos which I found better in low light while using this photo. With the help of some image enhancer I can easily fix small issues.

I had myself check some picture comparison of both the lenses, in which Sigma was better. It is not only better for the image quality but on the price part also there is an difference.

Re: Output of Sigma 70-200 f2.8 camera lens

Sigma 70-200 f2.8 is one of the latest lenses. The lens work nicely with many digital cameras. I too agree that when your in low light crowded place, image quality becomes an matter of concern. Atleast the camera must be capable of capturing appropriate image in absence of good light. Corrections can be then done later on. There are some cameras which says has better image quality support on low light, but I had found many conception failed. So it is an choice and after reading review, that Sigma offers some really of fordable products. There were certain old lenses which were to upgraded by Sigma and released the new one in that place. Canon too provides some better lens. It also depends on your usage what type of lens you want. So that is an completely choosy for those who are spending enough amount on lens only. The current successor of the lens is 70-200mm F2.8 EX DG Macro HSM. This was released long time ago which offers a better optical layout with an much improved optical performance. So just have a look on more newer models.
