is it good to leave WIFI always switched on in T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide

Hi, I have recently purchased T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide and I used to access internet on that through my WIFI connection but I have some doubts with using it as, if suppose we didn’t ever switched off the WIFI connection so will it affect the mobile or to my network anyways ? because I never ever switch it off and it just keeps running in background though I used it or not.

What could be the problem with that? any suggestion would be appreciated

See as you are using your personal network so regarding the security doesn’t matter whether you turn it off or keeps it on all the time but when it comes to device, it will keep draining the battery in fewer time only.

Don’t you think you have made such a silly question over here? Or does it make sense by the way? Because if you keep running WIFI on, it will simply damage your battery for sure.

And as the extent to I know it will only damage to your device, and after all it is good practice to turn off the WIFI connection as you done doing your work with it.
