Confuse about to keep or returning my PS3

Well guys as topic suggest I am confused about to keep or return the PS3 my favor points
• Backward compatibility with PS2 games since my PS2 is not working
• Ability to play Blu-ray
• Gran Turismo 5

The thing I don’t favor
• Have a bit issue with the consoles
• I love PC gaming and I am superior on it
• Not anything other than Gran Turismo 5 that is ps3 exclusive that I would want to play.
• NO backwards compatible and no one told me this after I asked several people whether I should buy it.
• Can’t buy a blu-ray and ps2 for less than 150.

I am thinking any real reason to get this but I guess you people who play console can answer me regarding this properly

I Have 60GB model with near 100% backward compatibility WHICH I don’t really use my PS3 except to play PS2 game and Blu-Ray and mine is used console
For you the PS3 Advantages by me
HDTV better connections
Networking and WiFi Built-in
Having Wireless controllers
Supports PS2 games that require HDD
May be this will help to make your decision

I got mine from the costco, and the sad thing is it don’t support PS2and the more importing I don’t like to but used system

I am fine with used one because mine is professionally restore and sold by Newegg , I bought and then extended the warranty of it
I am now hoping they used lead-based solder instead. Of that lead-free RoHS which is reason all the problems in the first place

It is common that one must not buy a console unless it has five at present released games that concern the buyer and beside it’s your fault that you did not had the proper research on the backwards compatibility article you should always do the proper research on the compatibility before you buy a gaming console

See you need to understand what your requirement is if you only want to play GT5 and you done with that then its sounds like that you want to sell the system. Everyone here says about how it’s your fault .Keep this in mind that if you want blu ray player that keep the one that you already have with you instead of taking the trouble it sell you PS3 on which you will only get just 150$ anyway and buying a new player and a PS2

Well he said by himself that nothing additional to Gran Turismo 5 that is PS3 special that I would want to play that clearly indicate that he don’t like the gaming on the console . now pc game dose have low point IMO . Sony has the greatest first party developers with huge games available nowhere else but with them The PS3 and PC create a great combo, discover to embrace that

You said you are the pc gaming elitist that is racialist now I am consider myself as the gamer and I am always ready to play any game on both the platform . so you should also think the same way console and the PC both give us terrific experience of gaming .

I myself don’t like the console i have 360 that I bought few months ago and which I already sold and in turn I bought the PS2 . I don’t understand is it why Sony had to take away the backwards compatibility and not to mention about it taking 3 hours to set up a 400meg update....

Now the GT5 wasn't even that good of a game, Forza is superior it’s because of how simple it is to obtain the car you desire and design it the method you want. GT5 had improved physics and slightly enhanced graphics, other than that I hated how I couldn't add exact parts to the car....and why do it price 20,000 for front/rear sway bars in a miata.
