Asus Eee PC 1215N working very slow

Hello a year ago I have bought the Asus EEE PC 1215N laptop and under that I have installed the windows XP operating system, everything on the system working fine without any issue but from last one week I have found that mine system not working properly meaning that mine system takes long time to open the program and late startup and I am facing this issue first and I have never face this type issue earlier, now I don’t what precaution need to take, can anyone suggest on this issue and so that I can solve mine issue.
